Can anyone answer my question about my used Kenmore refrigerator?

I had to manually defrost my Kenmore refrigerator due to dripping of water from the top part of the refrigerator onto the bottom of the refrigerator. After one month with no further problems, it’s happening again so I have to manually defrost it again. Why? Should I do anything other than manually defrost a second time?

If it is self defrosting you may have a problem.If not it is probably a bad door seal.Take a $1 bill(or piece of paper) and place it between door and freezer/close door and see if it pulls out(It should be difficult to pull out) do all around the door.

(thank god we have all tile floors!!) I pulled the machine out a little, took an old tennis shoe and wedged it in there and pushed the machine back in there to hold it in. What are some non-standard ways you have used to fixed unruly appliances?
The hose fits it and has a goosneck and everything; I just didn’t have any tape, my boyfriend wasn’t home to help, and I needed to fix it before I went into work. The floor isn’t level and in turn neither is the washer- I just needed a temporary fix till he got home to do something about. So far, the shoe is working.

I’m clueless when it comes to this stuff. I want to buy my niece a microwave oven for her wedding. She says it has to use under 25 amps or it will blow the fuse in her apartment. She has a 800 W now and feels it’s too small. None of the specs on the web sites tell how many amps the microwaves use, they just give size and watts. She lives out of state in a small town so I’d like to have one shipped, but have to be sure she won’t have to go through the bother of returning it if it’s too powerful (or whatever the term is). Is there a way to figure out if a 1100 watt oven would be too much? Do you think that 25 amps means everything in the kitchen can’t total more than 25 amps? I don’t really know what I’m asking. heheh Help!
I can’t read the label as I’ll be sending it from an online store. Guess I could try to find one like it in a store around here and check it out first. It’s my neice, not my daughter, and I’m 99.9% sure she hasn’t done anything to the outlet, although the landlord or a former tenant may have.
So it doesn’t matter what else is running in that room, a retail microwave would probably not blow a fuse?

How much should I pay to have steps built and a refrigerator installed by a friend who has a handyman serv.?

My kids’ Godfather owns his own home re-modelling company and is rebuilding four steps for me. He has also hooked up my refrigerator water source. He has left it up to me to decide how much to pay him. Our funds are scarce but I don’t want to be too cheap because I will have lots of future projects for him to do. Can anyone help me?

I’m a contractor in Kansas city Mo, The average price for a step to be rebuilt, is about 50.00 per step. the water source should be pretty cheap, maybe 20.00 but since he knows you he did it as a favor and is willing to do it cheaper. maybe give him 1/2 110.00 or 120.00 and I would give him a home cooked apple pie on a surprise.
When I do work for friends I don’t want any money cause it always causes problems. If I got half I would be very happy, and thankful. To me the apple pie, or cherry would be better.
